| Sharing Your Musical Taste with Your Buddies in iChat |
|
|
If you listen to iTunes while you're chatting, you can give the people you're chatting with a glimpse into your musical genius. Go to your Buddy List and under your Status pop-up menu, choose Current iTunes Song. Now the song you're listening to will be displayed to the person you're chatting with, which basically tells them that they're not important enough to demand your full attention, and that you must do other things, like listen to music, to keep yourself occupied while mindlessly chatting with them. Okay, I'm not sure it means all that, but you get the drift. Okay, so what if they like the song? They can click on it, and it will take them directly to that song in the iTunes Store, so they can buy it themselves, and then they'll be the one who looks cool. It's a vicious cycle.
