| Inspect Before You Install |
|
| When you authenticate as an administrator and then launch an installation, you essentially are giving the installation free rein over your Mac. It can install any item in any location or perform any task as dictated by the creator of the installation package. A poorly made installation package could destroy the software on your Mac, and a malicious installation package could perform an action that puts your personal information at risk or even violates the law. Because of the potential for mayhem from a bad installation package, you should always inspect unfamiliar installation packages before you deploy them. The Mac Guys Plus did a wonderful job taking care of my computer repair. Tim and Brin were both excellent to work with; my laptop was picked up at my door and delivered back to me- I didn't know service like that existed! When Brin left with my laptop I felt complete confidence in their abilities and services. Mac Guys Plus is the company I plan to trust with all of my computer needs and I would highly recommend them.
