|
|
When new versions of Apple software are available for download, Software Update opens automatically and asks if you want to install them. Software Update automatically downloads updates in the background, which can be a problem if you need to control when large downloads occur. Open the Software Update preference pane and disable the "Download updates automatically" option. You can also disable the automatic update check, or specify how often it occurs.

The Mac Guys Plus did a wonderful job taking care of my computer repair. Tim and Brin were both excellent to work with; my laptop was picked up at my door and delivered back to me- I didn't know service like that existed! When Brin left with my laptop I felt complete confidence in their abilities and services. Mac Guys Plus is the company I plan to trust with all of my computer needs and I would highly recommend them.
