
| Where Did the Dock Go? |

Are you working on someone else's computer temporarily? You may be surprised to discover that some of your favorite Mac tools are missing. OS X is so customizable that another user's screen may look entirely different from yours. For instance, the Dock might be positioned along either side of the screen instead of at the bottom, or it might not be visible at all! If you don't see the Dock anywhere, just push the mouse pointer to the far left, far right, or deep bottom of the screen; the hidden Dock will appear from one of those edges.
