You don't have to use the Customize Toolbar dialog to rearrange or remove toolbar items; just use the Command button on your keyboard. To move an item to a new position, hold down the Command button and drag the item to the new location. To remove an item from a toolbar, hold down the Command button and drag the item off the toolbar.
