| How to deal with .DOCX Documents? |
|
|
In
the leastest releases of MS-Office, 2007 for PC and 2008 for Mac,
Microsoft updated the extension for there office Docs to docx, .xlsx,
and .pptx from .doc. If you don't have the current verion of office you
must have a special viewer installed to see open these new files. In the PC world you need the MS-Office Compatibility Pack... For the Macs you can get a free Open XML converter.... You can also send your files to Zamzar. |

"Being new to the IT field, I am thankful for the technical support of The Mac Guys. My company contracts a representative from The Mac Guys to come out one day of the week. Between him and myself we support the entire company on a week to week basis—normally the task of a full department. Their customer service and technical knowledge are top notch."
