| Span Your iTunes Library Across Volumes |
|
|
With iTunes 7 and later, you can span an iTunes Library across volumes. Open the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences window, click the Change button, and designate a new iTunes Music folder location. With the Copy Files to iTunes Music Folder When Adding to Library option turned off, iTunes will look to this new folder while maintaining contact with the old one. You can play the files in your old iTunes Music folder as well as the files in the new folder. When you add new music, that music will be added to the new location.
