Using the Preview Pane in Windows Explorer E-mail
Similar to Cover Flow view in Leopard's Finder, the Preview pane in Windows Vista's Explorer window lets you see an expanded view of a file without actually launching it. This is one of Vista's most useful features. The Preview pane can display all kinds of files in their entirety. You can read complete Word or PDF files. When you preview a video or music file, you can also watch or listen to it in a player that appears in the Preview pane. To turn on the Preview pane, click the Organize button in the toolbar and choose Layout > Preview Pane. Then just click a file when you want to preview it in the Preview pane.
